Writer Availability Policy

Policy overview

When placing an order on the Ultius platform, you have the ability to request a specific writer. The writer you request can be selected from a list of writers you have added to your favorites list or have worked with in the past. When you request a specific writer, the writer has a specific period of time to accept the order and work on it. While the company works really hard to make sure that your writer is available when you need them, there are a number of reasons why they are unavailable.

In cases where the writer is unable to accept your order, we automatically place your order in a special pool where only the most qualified and experienced writers can claim it. Rest assured that the additional funds you paid for requesting a specific writer will go towards matching you with the most qualified one we have available. 

Additionally, we will provide you with a custom discount code that you can use towards a future order.

Reasons your writer may be unavailable

Your writer may be unavailable for a number of reasons. Here are some of the most common ones:

• They are no longer working for the company and their account has not been deactivated yet
• They are on vacation and have not set their vacation mode to away
• They are working on other orders and do not have enough time to complete your order according to our quality guidelines
• They don’t feel qualified to work on the request you specified

Whatever the reason is, please understand that we understand your frustration and have built various safeguards to ensure the writer has a high probability of claiming it.

Finally, the company makes no promise, guarantee or commitment that when you request a writer they will be available and complete it. By requesting a writer, you understand this limitation and agree to hold the company harmless against claims related to this feature.
